The Catwall Acrobats reap 4 prizes at the 37th International Circus Festival of Monte-Carlo

Presided by the Princess Stéphanie de Monaco, the 37th International Circus Festival of Monte-Carlo is the most prestigious Circus festival in the world, often referred as the ‘Oscars’ of Circus.

For this 37th edition, 150 artists of 20 different countries where presenting nearly 30 acts, in competition for the prizes. The Catwall Acrobats, with their outstanding 360 degrees transparent wall act where the favorite of the crowd from both competition shows. They where awarded for this the one and only Prize of the Public at the end of the competition. The Jury honored them also with a prestigious Bronze Clown, and the SBMC society or Monte-Carlo and also the Nikoulin Circus from Moscow gratified them with their own Special Prizes.

4 Prizes, all in all, for this young team of artists from Canada, the only troupe to represent Canada and even north America at this festival. This is a great prize for a small troupe that started with Hugo Noel, Christophe Hamel and Andreanne Quintal, 5 years ago.

Now, our team of artists( Hugo Noel, Andreanne Quintal, Christophe Hamel, Fletcher Blair Sanchez, Francis Caron, Manuel Bélair and Didier Stowe ) was present to enjoy Monaco and show the best tricks to the Monegasque society.

Congradulations to our team, and thank you to the organising commitee, Urs Pilz, and the Princess Stephanie for hosting this great event!
